VOICES OF RESISTANCE: REPRESENTATION OF DALIT WOMEN IN THE WORKS OF BABY KAMBLE AND URMILA PAWAR
Mrs. Jyoti Gajanan Margil
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.16487385
Abstract
Certificate
The literature of marginalized communities has long served as a powerful medium to voice the struggles, aspirations, and lived experiences of those relegated to the fringes of society. Among the prominent voices in Indian Dalit literature, Baby Kamble and Urmila Pawar stand out for their poignant portrayal of the weaker sections, particularly women and Dalits. Baby Kamble’s The Prisons We Broke (2008) and Urmila Pawar’s The Weave of My Life (2008) are seminal
works that delve into the intersectionality of caste, gender, and class, offering a nuanced understanding of the systemic oppression faced by Dalit women. This paper seeks to explore how these authors represent the weaker sections in their novels, focusing on their narrative strategies, thematic concerns, and the socio-political implications of their works. By analyzing these texts, the study aims to contribute to the broader discourse on Dalit literature and its role in challenging dominant narratives.

ROLE OF DISTRICT CENTRAL CO-OPERATIVE BANKS IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT IN MARATHWADA REGION
Mr. Viraj N. Deshmukh & Dr. Suhas G. Gopne
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.16488562
Abstract
Certificate
District Central Co-operative Banks (DCCBs) play a crucial role in the rural development of the Marathwada region by promoting financial inclusion and supporting agricultural and non-agricultural activities. These banks provide accessible credit to farmers, self-help groups (SHGs), and rural entrepreneurs, fostering economic growth and employment generation. By financing agricultural productivity, DCCBs help farmers invest in modern techniques, thereby increasing yields and ensuring food security. Additionally, they support rural enterprises by extending microfinance to SHGs, empowering women and marginalized communities. However, challenges such as limited resources, regulatory constraints, and technological gaps hinder their effectiveness. Strengthening DCCBs through policy reforms, digital banking initiatives, and capacity-building programs can enhance their impact on rural development. This paper examines the role of DCCBs in fostering socio-economic transformation in Marathwada, highlighting their contributions, challenges, and potential solutions for sustainable rural progress

ECONOMICALLY BACKWARDNESS AND CASTEISM IN THE NOVEL OF URMILA PAWAR THE WEAVE OF MY LIFE: A DALIT WOMAN'S MEMOIRS
Mrs. Dhimdhime Surekha Pandit & Dr. Arya Dhanaji Wamanrao
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.16489536
Abstract
Certificate
This research paper examines the intersection of economic backwardness and casteism as portrayed in Urmila Pawar’s The Weave of My Life: A Dalit Woman’s Memoirs. The paper explores how caste-based discrimination perpetuates economic marginalization and how economic hardship reinforces caste oppression. By analyzing Pawar’s autobiographical narrative, this study highlights the structural inequalities embedded within Indian society and their implications for Dalit women. Through a critical analysis of the text, this paper argues that economic deprivation and casteism are intertwined, forming a cycle of oppression that limits social mobility for Dalits. Furthermore, this research emphasizes the role of Ambedkarite ideology as a means of challenging these systemic inequalities and fostering socio-economic empowerment within Dalit communities. Additionally, the paper draws comparisons with other Dalit women’s narratives to establish patterns of oppression and resistance.

IMMUNE BOOSTING MECHANISMS AND FUNCTIONAL FOODS: A CRITICAL EVALUATION OF PREBIOTICS AND PROBIOTICS
Mrs. Shaikh Rubiya Sanobar Anwar
Probiotics and prebiotics play crucial roles in managing the intestinal microbiota in order to improve host health, even though their influence on other body sites are being investigated. Comprehensive studies conducted on the link between the gut immunity and microbiome in recent decades have correspondingly led to ever increasing interests in functional foods, especially probiotics and prebiotics. While positively affecting overall host physiology, different colonic bacteria metabolize dietary prebiotics to produce beneficial metabolites, especially short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) that improve luminal contents and intestinal performance. Thus, this review provides a general perspective of the gut immune system, the immune system and its microbiota. The review also evaluates functional foods with critical but comprehensive perspectives into probiotics and prebiotics, their immune boosting and mechanisms of action. It is recommended that further translational and mechanistic studies are conducted to promote empower poverty-stricken and also communities social life, health.

INTERFACE BETWEEN CIVIL SOCIETY AND STATE FOR INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT
Sulbha Narayan Bhalekar & Mirza Mosinbeg Guljarbeg
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.16489561
Abstract
Certificate
These days, there is a lot of debate about where civil society fits into this system, how much power the state should have, and where these two domains overlap. There is frequently little coverage of the interaction between the state and civil society. But in order to perform the scientific evaluation of the state of civil society, it is crucial to comprehend the nature of the connection and how it has evolved over time. The author expounds upon the theories of the ancient and modern philosophers, culminating in an examination of the 21st-century notion of civil society. As a result, it is evident to readers that the concept of the connection between the state and civil society has evolved greatly. The link between civil society and the state is not widely understood, and this perspective has evolved over time. The need for a qualitative evaluation of the political processes in every nation and around the world, where the state and civil society are the primary actors, is growing, however. When debating the functions of civil society and the appropriate or inappropriate actions of the government, scientific study is an indispensable source of information. The researcher aims to elucidate civil society and its relationship to the state in this work.

INTERSECTIONALITY, CASTE, AND THE SUFFERING OF OPPRESSED WOMEN IN BABY KAMBLE’S THE PRISONS WE BROKE
Dr. Vasant Bhivaji Gaikwad
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.16489653
Abstract
Certificate
This study examines the lived experiences of suffering among low caste Mahar women, who endure systemic oppression imposed by the dominant patriarchal ideology embedded within Brahminism. Baby Kamble critically engages with the humanitarian tendency to overlook social inequality and agony, exhibiting deep sensitivity to the struggles faced by Dalit women. Kamble’s exploration of the psyche of Mahar women emphasizes collective solidarity and Dalit femininity over individual suffering. As a writer, she acknowledges her primary responsibility to advocate for women's emancipation and the eradication of untouchability. Through her work, Kamble effectively portrays the wounded selves of Mahar women and their resilience. Employing Paik’s theory of Incremental Intersecting Technologies analyzing caste, class, gender, sexuality, and agency this paper explores how the caste system has been critically examined and how intersectional perspectives on Dalit women have evolved over the past two decades.

Abstract
Certificate
If the central government collects the data of the states in the form of a survey i.e. economic survey, planning based on it will help to solve the problem. India can definitely achieve economic development because of that. It is very important for the Union Finance Minister to make financial provisions for each state, taking into account poverty alleviation and economic inequality in the state budget. Only then can we get rid of these problems and economic development of India can take place. It is necessary to invest in backward states, create SEZs, and create industrial corridors. This will increase the per capita income and raise the standard of living of the people and remove poverty. The problem of unemployment will be removed and the economy will develop financially.

UNVEILING THE FEMALE PSYCHE: PSYCHOLOGICAL REALISM AND FEMINIST NARRATIVES IN PREETI SHENOY’S THE ONE YOU CANNOT HAVE
Mrs. Mane Gitanjali Shivajirao
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.16490034
Abstract
Certificate
Preeti Shenoy’s The One You Cannot Have (2013) intricately portrays the psychological landscapes of its female protagonists, Shruti and Anjali, as they navigate love, heartbreak, and societal expectations in contemporary urban India. This paper examines the delineation of the female psyche through psychological realism, focusing on themes of emotional resilience, identity conflict, and resistance to patriarchal structures. By analyzing the characters’ internal struggles and responses to romantic and social pressures, the study hypothesizes that Shenoy presents women as agents of self-discovery who challenge traditional gender roles while confronting the constraints of modern relationships. Using qualitative textual analysis grounded in feminist literary theory, this paper explores how Shenoy’s narrative strategies illuminate the psychological depth of her female characters, contributing to contemporary discourses on women’s identities in Indian literature.
