LASER INDUCED MICROSTRUCTURE MODIFICATION IN THE PHOTOANODE FOR DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL
Divya Jyoti & Ruchika Seth
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.6905988
Abstract
Certificate
Presented research article reports the influence of highly intense and monochromatic laser
radiation (532nm) on the photoanode for dye-sensitized solar cell. Crystalline nature of the
semiconducting film is checked by x-ray diffraction studies that reveal that the photoanodic film contains
Anatase nature of TiO2 film. Morphology has been analyzed with the help of scanning electron
microscopy. Current density-voltage (JV) characteristics are analysed to compare the candidature of the
laser processed film as a photoanode in the dye-sensitized solar cell and it is found that photo induced
structure modification leads to an enhancement in the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells.

S.S. Rai
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.6907105
Abstract
Certificate
Northern Black Polished Ware is subject of enquiry in this paper. This is an important pottery
tradition of the Ganga Valley. This ware has a very high lustrous finish and shows variations in colour.
There are many problems related to its origin, distribution and technology of manufacturing. In this paper
an attempt has been made, using X-ray diffraction techniques, to address the problems related to its firing
technology. It is being proposed that NBPW production was distributed over a wider area of the Ganga
Valley and it was a specialized craft in ancient India. It has been found that due to special technique of
firing the clay minerals present on the outer surface of pottery underwent mineral transformation and
produced a lustrous glossy slip.

Mr.V.P Ugale
DOI : 10.5281/amierj.6907133
Abstract
Certificate
Wine tourism is quite different from other forms of tourism because they cater to a different class
of tourists. India has slowly emerged as a popular destination for the wine connoisseurs. The state of
Maharashtra alone accounts for almost 80% of India's wine production. Nashik, which is fast developing
as an industrial and educational hub, has a unique distinction of being one the most popular pilgrimage
centres in India and is also known by the sobriquet “Wine capital” of India. The Godavari Wine Park,
Vinchura, which houses a few prominent wine units, is slowly transforming the economic landscape for
the region. Apart from the topography which is conducive for grape cultivation, the region is endowed
with requisite infrastructure like a 1.72 MLD water supply scheme, broad roads for access to the
industrial areas and a 33/11 KV, 5 MVA substation which caters the power supply of the industrial area.
There are also government incentives in place pertaining to excise, sales tax, octroi and certain special
incentives. This paper reviews the existing status of wine tourism in the region with respect to
functioning of wine units, the economic impact on the area and employment opportunities. The paper
also explores various brands of wine, marketing strategies adopted and government support and subsidies
extended towards the industries. The challenges and problems faced by the wine makers are discussed
and recommendations are made to improve the promotional strategies and popularize wine tourism.
