ICT For Teacher In Adult Education
Jyoti Bhaskarrao More And Dr.Anand Madhavrao Wagh
DOI : 10.5281/EIIRJ.7233311
Abstract
Certificate
Adult education is expected to address the socio-economic, cultural, political and environmental
problems besieging humanity in their various societies. This is so because adults are the major occupants
of the production sectors of the economy. Fasakun (2006) observed that adult education is not concerned
with preparing people for life but rather with helping or assisting people (adults) to live more successfully
as useful and acceptable members of their societies and contribute meaningfully to the development of
those societies. As can be seen from the information above, adult education should be re-positioned to
excessively launch the present adults into the orbit where they can respond to the challenges brought in by
information and communication technology in order to make meaningful contributions to national
development. Nzeneri (2010)

who has attained physical, mental, emotional and social maturity or legal age for marriage, or for franchise
or voting right. But can we say for certain that every person who has attained physical maturity only, or
legal age of adulthood can be considered to be mature adult of that society or country? Or can we say at
what age a person will definitely becomean adult, in terms of maturity? The answer is 'No'. But at the
same time, as AdultEducation:The Basic mentioned above, we can be sure of one thing that we are all
adults with different Concept, Terms, Features and Objectives levels of maturity and belong to the most
significant and productive age group - physically, socially, mentally, economically, politically, morally
culturally, and so on. Nevertheless, we need to remember that maturity is an endless process and in
general it increases with one's age, experience and knowledge. In the context of adult education, the
concept 'adult' remained inadequately defined because of the multiplicity of criteria used in defining it.
The Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary (1995) defines adult as:

college education for the purpose of teaching and learning technology is being used. Due to pandemic

adopting and accommodating with these new changes. It is also a fact that although we are using
technology for teaching purposes there is an absence of a clear pedagogical framework for online teaching
- learning and evaluation. Various online platforms are used by the educational institute to carry out online
education e.g. ZOOM Meeting, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Whatsapp groups, telegram, Webex

Dr. Hiralal K. Bhosale
DOI : 10.5281/EIIRJ.7934304
Abstract

The development of any society and Nation depends on education. That is why most of the countries of the
world have accepted education as a fundamental right. A student of today should become a wise and
enlightened citizen of tomorrow. School education should be compulsory for every student. The foundation
of a student's education and personality is laid in school itself. His success in further education depends
on the manners imparted on the students at school and the value education he receives. The importance of
school education is unique as the future of a child depends on the education imparted in school. That is
why the Government of India passed the Right to Education Act 2009 and it was implemented across the
country from 1st April 2010 and education became a fundamental right of every child. This Act has given
the right to free and compulsory education to children in the age group of 6 to 14 years. Today, ten years
after the implementation of this Act, many children are still deprived of their basic right to education. In
this research paper, we are going to understand the meaning of the concepts of education, child,
fundamental rights and we are also going to study the success and failure of the Right to Free and
Compulsory Education Act of children
