DIGITAL BRAND AWARENESS AND USES IN RURAL SECTOR
Dr. K.S. Rajashekar Reddy
DOI : 10.5281/EIIRJ.7653290
Abstract
Certificate
In the past, a rural consumer had to go to a nearby town or city to buy a branded product since branded
firms gave priority to urban markets. Large firms are now, however, finally acknowledging the relevance
of rural markets due to the growing clout of rural consumers. India's rural market is currently seeing great
growth as a result of the vastly increased purchasing power, expanding brand awareness, efficient media
communication network, and changing customer demographics in rural areas. Numerous studies have
demonstrated that the rural middle class is not only wealthier than the urban middle class, but it is also
growing more swiftly. Another aspect speeding up this occurrence is the infrastructure connecting all four
big urban regions via hundreds of municipalities. This helps companies reach the biggest distribution
network feasible, reach regional markets, and challenge the ubiquitous attitudes and practises of rural
consumers. This essay seeks to ascertain the level of brand awareness among those who live in rural areas.

DOI : 10.5281/EIIRJ.7653292
Abstract
Certificate
Human life has become much simpler, quicker, and more productive thanks to digitization. One of the
biggest and most significant revolutions in human history. Digitization has had an impact on practically
all industries, not only the IT sector, as a means of completing tasks swiftly and effectively with the least
amount of human interaction. The transportation infrastructure in metropolitan areas has changed
significantly over the last ten years. In India's metropolitan and urban cities, taxis have emerged as a key
means of transportation among the many others. Taxi services are a private, typically door-to-door service
that is mostly provided to the general public at the local level. Horse wagons were the predominant means
of transportation in the first decade of the 20th century, but in 1911 Taxi Cabs (conventionally known as
Taxis) took their place due to their inefficiency. The study is aimed at identifying customer satisfaction
towards Traditional taxis. The study investigated the variables that influenced customer satisfaction based
on different parameters. Independent Sample t-test and One-way Anova has been applied for the purpose
of statistical analysis of the findings of the research.

DIGITISING GST COMPLIANCES- ISSUES AND IMPLICATIONS IN INDIAN ECONOMY
T. Sudhakar
DOI : 10.5281/EIIRJ.7653305
Abstract
Certificate
GST-Goods and services tax, the name itself is saying that it is a tax levied on goods and services. It is a
value added tax levied by the government on goods and services which are consumed by the consumers and
are sold by the sellers. Goods and services tax is paid by the consumers in addition to the price of the
product. Sellers will collect the amount after selling the goods and services i.e. the amount includes price
of the product and GST. So GST is collected by the business and thereafter it is remitted to the government.
Levying of tax on goods and services will generate revenue to the government in effect. Goods and services
tax is the tax levied at the state level and national level i.e. GST is the tax levied by the state government
and Integrated GST is the tax levied by the central government.
The main objective of the levying GST is to reduce tax on tax i.e. double taxation. GST is consumer based
tax as GST is paid ultimately by the consumer i.e. end user of the product. The main agenda of implementing
GST is to have single tax structure right from manufacturing stage to the stage of delivering to the final
consumer of the product. Implementation of GST has reduced the cascading effect of the previous structure.
GST has replaced the many indirect taxes in India. The Goods and services Tax Act was passed in the
parliament on 29th march 2017 and it came into effect on 1st July 2017.
Digitising GST Compliances has certainly made it easier for many businesses to operate and it provides
required data to GST Authorities to make reconciliation and documentation process easy and transparent.
After the implementation of GST there are many issues have been taken place. Even though there are many
issues with the implementation of GST, there are benefits of GST. This Study aims to see both the sides of
a coin i.e. issues and implications of the GST.

TEACHER EDUCATORS’ PERCEPTION ABOUT IMPLEMENTATION OF NEP-2020 IN TEACHER TRAINING INSTITUTIONS
Dr. Imran Ansari & Dr. Ali Haider
DOI : 10.5281/EIIRJ.7653344
Abstract
Certificate
The New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a comprehensive document that emphasises the need for
restructuring and revitalization of the Indian education system. The policy has advocated a big structural
change in the design of curricular and pedagogy of school education system, i.e., 5+3+3+4. It has also
suggested structural change in the teacher education programme, i.e., 4 years of integrated B.Ed.
programmes like B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., and B.Com. B.Ed., etc. However, is the structural change in the
teacher education programme in line with the change in the school education system? Will the proposed 4-
year integrated programme be compatible with the school education system? NEP-2020 also states that
teacher education institutions will be move by 2030 as multi-disciplinary colleges and universities with
multiple entry and exit point systems; this is an additional challenge for institutions that have offered only
one teacher training programme or a so-called “stand-alone” institution. How would the idea of
integration and a multidisciplinary approach be made possible in such an institution?
To address some of the questions raised above, the researchers conducted survey research on teacher
education institutions. Initially, the NEP-2020 document was analyzed with respect to the guidelines and
provisions of teacher education programmes. The researchers sampled 30 teacher educators has been
taken from different teacher training institution of the country. It has been found that infrastructure,
funding, clear guidelines etc., were major challenges for educational institutions. In addition, suggestions
were solicited from them on how to smoothly facilitate the implementation of the policy. The findings are
significant for academia and other stakeholders

monetize their services. In the article, this opportunity is quantified, and triangle of interdependence model
is mentioned. These models explain the interconnectedness of customer acquisition, service delivery, and
revenue sharing through bundled pricing. Triangle of interdependence model is based on the inferences of
126 respondents in th6e age group of 15-35 in the city of Mumbai. In the paper, it is clearly discussed why
OTT players should collaborate and how doing so will increase revenue potential for both telecom and

Mr. Nirav Vijay Tawadia
DOI : 10.5281/EIIRJ.7653377
Abstract
Certificate
The difference between brand perception and brand awareness needs to be more clear in the minds of the
consumers. The broad objective of this research is to investigate the impact of brand perception and brand
awareness on consumer buying behavior from the perspective of cosmetic companies, focusing especially
on the consumer purchasing decision aspect. The paper will help to understand how marketing strategies
can uplift the brand perception in the minds of consumers. The study aims to find out that the major decision
taken by the consumer while purchasing the product is based on Brand perception or on Brand awareness.
It even helps to understand that the purchasing decision taken by the consumer on the bases of Brand
perception related to the product might change once the consumer is aware about the brand. As it is not
necessary that the perception of the brand may be the reality of the brand, which might have an impact on
the purchasing decision of the consumer. The marketing strategy creates a Brand perception within the
minds of the buyers but doesn't provide complete knowledge about the brand so that the consumer is aware
of the brand. Social media plays an important role in influencing purchasing decisions. As the brand now
has given a position to the brand ambassadors on social media as ‘Social Influencers’. This paper is an
outcome of both primary and secondary data which seeks to investigate one of the major factors that
influence the purchasing decision of the consumer.
