UNDERSTANDING THE PERSPECTIVE TOWARDS ENTREPRENEURSHIP AMONG THE DEGREE COLLEGE STUDENTS - A STUDY
Mr. Sudam Shantaram Ahirrow
DOI : 10.5281/ERJ.7801878
Abstract
Certificate
There has recently been an increase in interest among students in undertaking and intensifying initiatives
promoting and supporting entrepreneurship as an appealing alternative to wage employment. This piqued my
interest for various reasons. To begin with, well-educated entrepreneurs are expected to start businesses that
expand quicker than their peers. Management parishioners and researchers understand the relevance of
education in the effective performance of new initiatives. Second, as a result of organisational restructuring in
response to increased global market rivalry, prior advantages of wage employment in large, established firms,
such as job security or reward for loyalty, have faded from view, enhancing the appeal of self-employment.
Graduate unemployment has been on the rise as well.
The decision to become an entrepreneur has been studied using various approaches over the years. Researchers
began exploring personality factors that might be linked to entrepreneurial ability. Later research has
highlighted the impact of several criteria like age, gender, ethnicity, religion, educational level, work experience
and so on. They are commonly referred to as demographic variables. Both of these approaches have enabled
the discovery of a significant association between a person's attributes or demographic characteristics.
However, their ability to forecast has been severely hampered.Because becoming an entrepreneur is a deliberate
and conscious decision, it seems sensible to investigate how that decision is made. In this sense, entrepreneurial
intent is a prerequisite and deciding factor in engaging in entrepreneurial behaviour. In turn, a person's
intention to engage in a particular behaviour is determined by their attitude toward that behaviour. A more
positive attitude would improve the likelihood of it being carried out.

One of the crucial components of generic talents is communication ability. The application of communication
skills would have been required of the students both within and outside of the lecture halls, for example during
group projects and in-class presentations. The purpose of this essay is to ascertain the students' degree of
communication proficiency. A self-administered questionnaire may be used to test communication abilities. It
evaluated eleven aspects of communication skills, including oral, written, and social behaviour. In general, skills
refer to a person's capacity to finish a certain assignment or any other work. It can also mean having the ability
to complete a task perfectly. These abilities will allow people to do the activities, which will improve one's
competences at their own speed. It is the capacity to accomplish the specified goals within the allotted time.

Abstract

For individuals born between the 1950s and the mid-1980s, owning a house was viewed as a status symbol,
financial security, basic need, and also as an asset. On the contrary today’s modern working class considers
renting a profitable option, the Indian real estate sector has witnessed a paradigm shift as a consequence of this
thinking. This research provides a critical comparative analysis of consumer behaviour of Millennials towards
buying a property with the help of facts and data from real estate market of India. We have used non probability
convenient sampling method for assemblage of data and also circulated Google forms, through which we
attempted to understand various aspects of the working class’s thought process, which was circulated over a
sizeable population. We conclude that on account of ongoing and foreseeable inflation trends and other
economic and social factors, renting is more equitable for the working class to the point that they attain financial
stability and are ready to bear the inflationary household and other expenses and interest rates of home loans
at the same time.

DOI : 10.5281/ERJ.7802030
Abstract

Soft Skills are those attributes that enhance the employability of the individual and also enable success and
satisfaction in personal and professional life. While studying the term ‘soft skills’, one actually studies and
understands about personality traits, communication skills, manners, ethics and social attributes. Hard skills
and soft skills go hand-in-hand and ought to be inculcated together especially when one is a student. Although
knowledge and the technical skills to acquire a job can be gained, the challenge thereafter before that individual
is to maintain the job and climb upward towards success at workplace. Here, the significance of soft skills is
realised and therefore, it is certainly not wise to neglect it but attempt to teach or make aware of the necessity to
imbibe soft skills to those who are unaware of it. This research paper is an attempt in this direction, focusing on
the meaning of soft skills, definition, different traits and attributes that are included under this term, significance
and some consequences of lacking these skills. The paper would have been incomplete without the mention of
communication skills. So, there are references made to communication skills, its four main types- verbal, nonverbal,
written and visual, the need to understand and work on one’s communication skills. In recent times,
these soft skills are also considered in selection-testing, mainly helping the employers to identify the individuals
likely to succeed in training as well as in job. Therefore, it is believed that the academic period ought to be the
period to inculcate these skills in students through the curriculum or even through workshops or courses. This
will prepare them for good and effective performance in their respective educational institutions and later in
their workplaces. Additionally, it would assist students in self-evaluation and help them pinpoint areas of their
learning programmes where and how they may actively work to enhance these skills.

Abstract

Adolescence (from Latin word, adolescere, meaning ‘to grow up’) is a transitional stage of physical and
psychological development that generally occurs during the period from puberty to legal adulthood. Adolescence
generally deals with age group of 10 to 21 years, divided into three stages; Early Adolescence- 10 to 13 years,
Middle Adolescence- 14 to 17 years, Late Adolescence- 18 to 21 years. Adolescence marks a rapid change in
one's role within a family. Young children tend to assert themselves forcefully, but are unable to demonstrate
much influence over family decisions until late adolescence, when they are increasingly viewed by parents as
equals. The adolescent faces the task of increasing independence while preserving a caring relationship with his
or her parents. When children go through puberty, there is often a significant increase in parent–child conflict
and a less cohesive familial bond. Arguments often concern minor issues of control, such as curfew, acceptable
clothing, and the adolescence right to privacy, which adolescents may have previously viewed as issues over
which their parents had complete authority.

SKILL-DEVELOPMENT & ENTREPRENEURSHIP THROUGH YOGA PHILOSOPHY
Mr. Avinash S. Waghmare
DOI : 10.5281/ERJ.7802268
Abstract

The theory and practice of skill development & entrepreneurship through yoga empower the individual and
society. In India, yoga is the system of Indian Philosophy and Psychology. Indian culture is formed through the
systems of Indian Philosophy and Psychology. Philosophy like Nyaya-Vaisheshikha, Sankhya-Yoga, Mimamsa-
Vedanta, great literature like Ramayana and Mahabharata, the Puranas (myth) and so on formed the Indian
culture. In our school (1st to 8th std) education systems there is abhava (absence) of the above-mentioned
cultural system. Right Skills must be Developed at the Right Age. In our schools these skills can be developed
through the Varna and Ashram vyavastha (system). The intellectual and emotional skills can be developed
through the stories of Panchatantra, Birbal and Tenalirama. In India there were number of skills developed in
our culture like language, grammar, math, philosophy, logic, art, music and so on. In the same way number of
entrepreneurships developed in our culture like teaching various subjects, arts, music, becoming a soldier and
training defence techniques, doing agriculture, horticulture, animal farming, developing city through
construction, giving professional services through coaching, tailoring, haircutting, delivering sales and
marketing and manufacturing products and so on.
Skills give Entrepreneurship. The above paragraph is to think of the Indian system, culture, sanskar (habit) given
to the individual and society. Which was destroyed by the British people in the 19th century. They first change
our education system (Gurukul Parampara) by (removing) stopping the life-oriented education. They introduce
their English language, math, science and slavery manners. They developed only those skills which are needed
for a worker. Earlier the Indian students use to start earning by the age of 16 years and they built their house
and business by the age of 25 years. The second change was the clothes, shoes (boot), hat, aluminium utensils,
laser blade and so on. In this way they destroyed the arts and manufactures of our country. Now we have
understood our country richness on all levels. The world has changed. So, we also have to change. If we learn
English that’s good and ok. Because our skills and entrepreneurship need English and other languages for sales
and marketing. In today’s world all the tools of communication and travels are fast. Due to internet the social
communication media skills are developing large numbers of entrepreneurship in this world. Though all the

agribusiness establishment in agriculture and allied sector. Farmer-entrepreneurs operate in a complex and
dynamic environment. They are part of a larger collection of people including other farmers, suppliers, traders,
transporters, processors and many others. Each of these has a role to play in producing products and moving
them through to the market – through the value chain. This paper focuses on various initiatives and entities that
promote capacity building and entrepreneurship development among the poor in India and pays special attention
to examining the ways in which these entities can better coordinate efforts of farmers.

Abstract

O2O ecommerce was the key to growth in 2020. The coronavirus pandemic pushed more consumers online but
for those still longing for in-store experiences. Today’s customers are starting their shopping experience online.
Whether it’s seeing an online advertisement or a recommendation from a friend on social media. People are
spending more time online now more than ever. In fact, they are spending their time on mobile more than TV.
This is what makes the Offline to Online journey so critical for businesses. People are no longer spending their
time watching TV advertisement. O2O is Online to Offline, referring to the online business opportunities by
using the Internet, the offline business trading in the Physical Store. Since Online E-commerce decided to open
offline stores and the offline stores began to build online platform. Brick and Mortar is a type of business model
that has both online and offline operations, which typically include a website and a physical store. A Brickand-
mortar company can offer customers the benefits of fast online transactions and traditional face-to-face
service and is thus potentially more competitive than a traditional "bricks and mortar" type of business, which
is offline only. This type of business model is also referred to as Bricks and bricks. Brick-and-mortar shopping
gives customers a chance to chat with sales representative, touch and feel, and get the in-store experiences.
Combine that In-store customer experience with an online strategy so shoppers can read detailed product
descriptions without talking to a sales representative. In order to study Shifts from Online to Offline to Online
and Shift from Offline to Online to Offline; this study was conducted on customers who residing in the Thane
District. The study consists of primary and secondary data. A structured questionnaire was used for data
collection with 7-points Likert scale. Null hypotheses were tested using Mann-Whitney U Test & Kruskal Wallis
test. The study in hand would be beneficial to the Marketers, Customers and Society at large.
